Default LS acting up!

hi there 99 ls is acting weird, on the freeway i would have to press down on the pedal a little more to maintain my speed because my speedometer would drop down even if i hold my pedal still. (as you would to hold a certain speed.) an example would be if im at 65mph i would have to press my pedal down a little more then i have already to maintain back at 65mph or else my speedometer would drop down slowly :\. could this be a throttle position sensor or a pedal position sensor gone bad? thx in advance guys.

You feel the car slowing or the speedo is acting weird?
How many miles on car?
Last engine maintenance?
Is this on a steady flat or is there rise-fall to the road?

i feel both the car slowing down with the speedometer , 142k, last engine maintance was at 141k spark plugs change ... and this is one steady flat.

and sometimes ill accelerate the car to reach up to the driving speed on any road and i see that the speedometer would rise while the RPM would drop slowly ...and its from the car shifting gears either.. makes no sense

mmm im not sure man. but my RPM stays at anywhere from 600-400, it always seem to be different when im at a red light. not sure that matters ... the meter stays at either the 3rd or 2nd mark at random times... it switches off...

Put your hand out the passenger window, you'll feel the same hot air. Heat rises, it's your exhaust. Ya know, like what you see in those "cops" videos from the helicopter with the infared heat trackers.

do you guys know how accurate is our mpg reading off the cluster is? i pumped yesterdat and i drove about 70 miles ish on the freeway and my TANK AVG was like 27-28mpg ish with a full car... then once i got down to city and drove around it quickly dropped down to 23 and it continues to drop but during that time my gas meter starts to drop really quick lol, quick as in the meter dropped lower than however much gas into it.... so how accurate is our gas meter reading? and in the morning, when you start the car, the tank avg drops as the car is warming up.. is this normal? how much is it suppose to drop by? and my RPM stays high at about 1.3-1.4 and it doesnt go down to 1k or anything near it from a cold start, i would have to shift into gear and it'll drop into like 900-800 range.
