Default Flashing ECT/PWR light on 95LS

I just want to thank everone on this site for all the tutorial and tons of info on here

I've had this car for about 2mos now and have already done alot but I know it has just started.

Recently my ECT Pwr light has been flashing.. I try switching back and forth btwn the diff modes and it won't let me do anything until i Turn the car off and maybe it will or won't come back on,

Doesn't really effect the way it drives though.

Anyone else have this issue??

I'd hate to be that guy but I'm going to bump this cause I'm having this issue now.
Car starts fine, as soon as i give it a little acceleration over 2k lets say the car just decides to limit power on take off
and flash that little pwr light on my dash.

If it matters, it is a 95 Toyota Celsior.

Since it’s a JDM vehicle it won’t work with a typical OBDII scanner. Perhaps you can retrieve the blink codes. Sounds like something going on with the transmission?

The paper clip method is just the same with a LS400 and all you need to do first is to read 2 digis TCCS code as sdls suggested.
