traction control being affected by ride height?
I need some help! I Went to a stance meet, on my way i drove over a few steel plates in construction zones. when i got back my RR strut was making noise and my lr was making a rubbing noise. So. i raised the car and took it in for an alignment and oil change. car drove fine no problems. After oil and alignment i lowered the car. back down to 24in from ground to top of rear wheel well (was previously at this level before stance meet)...
took the car for a test drive and every left turn the rr tires drops power and then peels out when exiting the corner. turn the traction control off and it just peels out through every left turn. right turns are fine. car was 24in from ground to the top of the rear wheel then 24.5in now 25in.

yea. i made sure each time it the same height cross axle.
forgot to mention i have old school jic's....
is it possible to bust a pillow ball off the shaft? that would explain the niose and allow the axle to slide side to side causing the vsc to kick in and dismiss power through the corner....? does this sound logical at all to anyone? wondering if my thinking is correct. is there a way to fix this, or delete the pillow ball. otherwise its stock suspension through the holidays

Pretty sure that I was atleast partially correct! tonight put on my stock struts with tanabes in the rear(talk about rake!). Took it for a test drive and can rally a corner and tires only spin if I want them to! No problems with the VSC! Now i just gotta figure out how to fix the rake. looks like rodded out 70s malibu.
Anyone know if you can put the front struts in the back, they are shorter and that would drop the rear some. would i need to swap top hats or anything? from looking quickly it looks possible.

Generally it would be smaller wheels, Smaller wheels have a shorter rolling rotation and less rolling resistance. ie they are ganna spin easier. Witch through a series of sensors can be read as loss of traction. In that situation vsc or traction control will step in and reduce power to compensate for the loss of traction.
