Sway Bar End Link Removal 90 LS400
As other have run into before, I'm having issues removing the sway bar end links so I can replace them with new ones.
I can get the nut spinning just fine (it's not frozen), but the entire bolt is spinning too, so I can't remove the nut. I've searched and found that some have used pliers to hold the bolt and other's mention a hex key or something to hold the bolt in place while the nut is removed. Were is the hex used? I have tried putting vice grips on the bolt by the rubber bushing section but it is slipping off.
Any tips would be appreciated.

Pole Position
That was a new one for me so I did some searching and it's a 6mm allen wrench. Alot of people are talking about how they stripped the bolt head and had to cut the bolt with nut off. I even looked in my manual and all it says in there is "Remove the left and right stabilizer bar links" no kiddin'. You're replacing the links, right? B/c the bolt isn't supposed to turn and turn.

My intention is to replace them, although my car only has 88,000 miles. I'm getting a clunking noise from the rear so I'm hoping that switching them out may help. The bolt turns...on both sides of the car.
