I have a 92ls400 and it has chrome side door moldings. Most pics I see of ls400 's don't have the chrome, I'm wondering does anyone have the same chrome trim or does everyone take it off? ThNks cl

There are 1/4" chrome strips on the sides of my '95...is that what you are referring to?

 

I don't have pics yet, I'm on my phone and it won't let me upload pics. It is he chrome molding going alongside the doorjams.

 

Going vertical around each door?

 

the horizontal one all the way around the car is normal some take it off. i have it on my car not going to take it off. think im even going to switch to silver emblems. since my car is a gold color and i need new center caps too.

 

you can't take it off, it's not cheap trim. it fits the groove and the list price on new trim for the whole car is in the $800-1000 (you can't reuse it usually when you're repainting the car)

I can't see the picture. This came stock on the ls4. I am the third owner down the family line.
