Default 96 ls400

I've lurked here for some time and finally picked up a LS400. It has 130k on it, decent history and real clean. I plan on it being my DD except during times of heavy snow.

Great looking LS!! Super clean & looks All Stock. Seats in very good condition. Try the turtle wax back box kit. I use it on my 98. Gives the black paint a deep reflectent shine. I started with a clay bar then followed the step by step instruction. Paints looks almost better than new. Enjoy the LS great car to drive and just setting back to look at.

Our cars are twins! Looks great. Hey, if you are "into" such things...go to Lowes and buy a Porter-Cable buffer/polisher. Using the correct compounds, you will not believehow good thast paint can look!

It is quite nice to see the LS love going on these days.
This should be a great year for Pursuit III and 1-2 LS's.

BONUS!!!!

The dealer I bought it from couldn't confirm that the timing belt had been changed although he had been assured that it was.

Whoever changed the belt (continental brand) placed the sticker on the drivers door jamb instead of under the hood. It was changed just 2k miles ago!

I feel much better about the $4,500 that I paid for it now. I was sure I had a timing job in my future.
