Default looking and looking with no luck

I wanted to see if anyone had a good, trusted website were one can find bilstein shocks for a 95 Ls400. Some of the online sites don't have very good ratings. I've had no luck locally sourcing them. All the stores are authorized dealers but no-one can source them.

If anyone knows where to get a complete set, I'd appricate it.

tirerack has them i believe
as does rockauto
and amazon? (buy through an amazon listed seller)

idk who else deals for Bilstein on the forum?
any authorized bilstein dealer SHOULD be able to get them, they aren't special order by any means...

Humm if you are looking to lower it I would consider coil overs. I have Bilstein HD's with H&R and I would like to change them. I bought mine at shock warehouse (on second set for front in 6+ years).

I guess amazon never crossed my mind. I'll have to look into that. Every dealer I've gone to has a part number but they say they can't be sourced. Could be were I live, not many full size luxury cars in truck country.

I kinda had my heart set on the bilstiens, since I heard you could lower them a bit more. I've already purchased the tanabe springs or else I would just go with coilovers. If I can't source the bilstiens, any other combination anyone recommends would be appreciated.

should have read a little more. the bilsteins won't work well with the pillow-soft tanabes. the bilsteins are onlyr eally meant to work with a 1-1.5" drop, the tanabes are a 2"+ drop and will force the shock to work outside its optimal stroke.

sell/return the tanabes and run coilovers. or buy kYB, cheaper+softer than the bilstein and will wear at the same rate with those springs.
