Might be contacts on the master switch.

so your 1981 Delorean DMC12 is having window issues? probably should call Delorean motor company for help...

seriously, you're not going to get far without telling us the year of your car....
or which window.

from the sound of it it could be a number of things, door ecu, harness, fuses, relays, motors, etc....

check how the windows roll down from the separate door switches in your 1990 ls4, if they all work properly from the individual door switches but not from the drivers door master switcth, im going with REY,and say its the master door switch.

sorry, my english is not very good. i own a '90 ls400. the problematic windows is the driver's one it just didn't work so i took out the door panel, disassembly it all and checked the switch, the motor, the arnes, the rails, the windows itself and everything is fine. i assemble it all back and it work well for two or three days and now it doesn't work.

I had exactly the same problem with the driver's side window. It was the master switch. That's the one that lowers the window with one push of the button. The contacts get corroded and they spark. You can tell by the carbon deposits. Try cleaning them with fine sandpaper or a file, or electrical contact cleaner. I eventually had to replace it with another used one.
