Default LS400 '96 Problem of REAR ARMREST CUPHOLDER

My '96 REAR ARMREST CUPHOLDER doesn't work even I push many times. Pls advise how to solve this problem.

Does it easy to dis-assemble ??? Pls advise.

from looking at mine, there is a zipper around the swivel end, you could probably get to it by taking your back seat cushion out, and go from there. keep us posted on your success or failure.

The diagram in the repair manual makes me wonder if the cup holder assembly is simply held in place by clips like many other interior components. I wonder if it the entire cup holder assembly could be popped out of the arm rest with a plastic interior trim removal tool.

I can't tell from the diagram what the two illustrated screws are for.

Actually, I can't see any zipper around the swivel end as your advice.

I know this diagram before, and try to pull out the entire cup holder from 2 sides by screw driver with strong force, but it can't ...!!!

Anyone has experience on it, pls kindly advise me asap ...???

I CAN'T see the zipper either, but I felt one.... have you TRIED taking the seat out to see for yourself, we are only trying to help you.
