like i stated before im an old honda guy..gettin out of racing b/c fairfax county va is crawling with cops that despise Hondas//pullin u over for no reason...so now im goin VIP trying to find out all i can about the ls40o b/c this is the route i wanna go they are so sick vipeed out...so my question is wut year did the ls400 started to add the air suspension...and from what ive been reading i dont need ant type of aftermarket suspension correct to lower the car with the airide b/c i can just by the controller..is this correct..thanx again lexus fam..im on my way will be posting pics soon once i find xactly what i want..there is no oter option for me beautiful cars

you REALLY need to search. hit the sticky at the top of the forum and read (don't post) old posts for information. lexls.com will have a lot of info for you too.

read more, yes you can get a controller and lower the factory air, but the bags WILL blow if you ride low, and quite quickly at that.

plan to ride 4x4 on factory air and just hard park it. Id rather just get UAS or some other air suspension instead

While a controller on stock airbags is an option, driving around slammed puts aot of stress on the factory bags. They do not usually last beyond 100k mi to begin with, so you maybe having to replace one sooner than later.

so pretty much i better off changing the suspension anwayz so it lasts..thanks guys
