Default gas tank leak

Well, I finally found my gas tank leak. It was a pin-hole sized leak in the side of my tank. Like to have never found it-actually, it was looking me right in the face. Before doing a lot of thinking on repair, I sanded down the area around the leak ( though not before I re-positioned the car so no gas was leaking out) and applied three coats of epoxy. Is this a good gas tank leak fixer?
In hindsight, I would have used JB weld-I have had excellent results fixing gas tanks on my old Z's with this stuff. Any comments would be appreciated.

maybe a used gas tank replacement might be a better fix since a fixed hole could possibly leak again. oh also i have never had this problem nor know how much a gas tank for the ls normally cost..haha

I hauled some 2x4's in the trunk; I think I may have allowed one of them to hit the tank too hard.

I've fixed a leak on the bottom of a tank with JBweld and had good results... I guess it depends on the epoxy.

Ah, gotcha I thought that it had somehow rusted through, which is crazy because the tank is in the interior in our cars... lol!
