Hate to revive this old thread, but fast forward to 2023. Some of us are still running into this issue with the Cusco strut bar. Yes, they never made one for the LHD. But with some patience and grinding, it can be modified to fit.
Without really knowing what the stresses are on the strut tower/base of the brace, it feels to me that the amount you've removed and the (lack of?) clearance around the end of the brake cylinder might be a bit tight. The way the other end of the brace base was relieved (and then reinforced!) for the RHD cars appears to leave a fair bit more space around the end of the brake cylinder (for flexing of the body?) while hopefully adding back some stiffness with the "bridge".

The section I had cut off, wasn’t much. This gauge metal was pretty thick (1/8 inch-maybe 3/16 inch thick). I think it should be ok based on the structure and design. I had to use a cut-off wheel, a sawzall wasn’t strong enough to cut it. I’ll find out if it snaps in half, after test driving the car around a sharp turn. This was the only way to make it work without modifier the actual Brake Master Cylinder or booster.
