Need to replace power amp. I've searched until I'm blue in the face. LexLS.com has nothing on it, either. HELP!!

2 small panels to remove on the back rail, front has one. 4 bolts and ur out.

I have removed and reinstalled the amp under the passenger seat of my 00 LS more than once without removing the seat so it might be possible to do the same in your 96 LS since the two cars have essentially the same interior. When reinstalling the amp, it has taken help from a second person to guide the taps into the slots under the seat front while I pushed the amp into place from the back floor.

very simple operation, even removing the seat belt & harness connectors to completely remove it.
