Default Drive and reverse light indicator on.

Ive got a 92,and today my car started something really weird today when I hit the brake the reverse light comes on no mater what gear its in. it even does it with the keys out of the ignition. so here is what happens when its driving, when you hit the brake to slow down the light comes on and the trans acks like it wants to shift into reverse or something cause it down shifts, that's about the best I can explain so help please.

I've narrowed it down to wiring but I don't have the wiring diagram in my manual.

Geez, you just asked a few hours ago, give people some time. Not everyone is sitting in front of thier computor waiting to answer a question that just pops up. Plus, there's only a handful of guys here that are real experienced with the wiring on an LS. You might want to do a search for the wiring diagram if you want an instant answer.

Broken wires at the left trunk hinge. There are a many, many threads about this issue and how to fix it which you can find by doing a search.

Well I changed the water pump and I think maybe a broken wire on the right side cam.
