Default Cost to replace O2 sensors?

Just curious if there is a typical cost range for O2 sensor replacement?

This is a different group then Lexus Owners Club?

I just had this done on my 170k mile LS. Parts were approx 300, and 2 hours of labor. My mechanic charges $75 an hour so it came out to be $425 total.

WOw on the $425. it cost me $80 to change all 4. I used universal 4 wire o2's soldered up the wires and heat shrinked them to the old harness's. instructions are petty clear and easy to follow for the o2's. You may need a few tools. o2 sensor socket ($7.99-autoparts warhouse) 7/8 wrench(depends where you buy it), steel pipe 3 inchs or so in diameter atleast two feet long($19.99 Lowes or Home Depot) for leverage. (put wrench on o2 sensor, pipe on wrench) crank to break free and then unthread by hand. soldering kit (5.99 at walmart). I already had all the materials but even if I didn't it would only cost me $140 or so. takes me about 45 mins to do one o2 slaking off. 2 hours for all 4 (depends how long it takes to solder) I suggest a DIY $425 is a weeks pay for some people.

o2 sensors dying/out will make the car run rougher/less performance/lower mpg

I replaced my front two on my '93 because the codes said they were gone. About $180 each tax in to buy. Installed myslef. Noticed no difference other than the ck eng. light going away.

Sprayed them both real good with MAF cleaner. No improvement. Actually runs even rougher after that.

Time to order replacements.

Thanks for the parts link at Longo!
