Default Your issue

Honestly it was a little difficult making out what you were saying, but I think I was able to decipher it:

I'd certainly replace the IAT if your scanner is complaining about it. Its an easy part to get and replacing it on a car with 100K+ miles makes sense.

Also have you looked into doing the typical maintenance of replacing the plugs/wires, and also taking a look at the throttle body for carbon build up etc.

I bought a 93 not to long ago and went through it in one day to do the above. Car ran spectacular after just a bit of maintenance.

I had some bad build up even on the side where the EGR valve was, i took it off and there are two "holes" that had alot of nasty carbon where the the valve was. It ran like crap. Once I cleaned it out with Throttle body cleaner, it ran SO much better and instantly passed smog as well.

Our car's are typically owned by a generation of people that had $40K+ and "just wanted it to run" -- which means they did not typically do maintenance on them.

I'd start there but that's my two cents.
