Default Acceleration/FootBrake Problem.

So, whenever I park my car, I always use the Foot/Hand Brake. In the LS400 case, its the Foot Brake.

Lately, for the past week or so (if not more), I've been noticing that after going from Park to Reverse and than to Drive, once I put my foot on the pedal to accelerate, the FootBrake Light would go on.

The actual brake isn't on, and I even pull the lever consecutively to make sure of it, but the light just goes on, no clue why.

Oh, and also, randomly, the word TRACTION appeared, and than went away a few minutes/hours later (not sure exactly how long, just noticed it gone).

I had a similar problem a week back. If the Footbrake light comes on, I believe it means your brake fluid low. In my case, there was a leak. You'll probably want to get that checked out soon. Check the brake fluid tank under the hood to see the level.
