well i have a 1993 lexus ls400 = 135000 miles
i just did a timing belt, water pump, idler pulley change, when i was done i noticed the timing belt was a bit too tight so i drove to Autozone about a mile away to buy a new tensioner.
(i should mention the car has been sitting for 3 weeks)
the car started up rough (old gas) when i got to autozone the car was not overheated but when i drove home it did get (1/4) past the second mark
i parked it
AAAAAAANNNNNNNDDDDD TTTTTHHHHHHHHEEEEEEENNNNNNN!!!!!
then there was a big coolant leak between the engine and transmission coming from the weep hole straight down no oil
any suggestions on what it could be

theres a bunch of places where the coolant could leak. engine and motor is the same thing lol so between it is not saying much. specific location would help.

Sounds like you have a failed water pump install. Did you replace both O-Rings? The tiny one on the water pump & the bigger O-ring on the Thermostat housing?
OP next time please try to have a better thread title.
Better thread titles(more descriptive of the nature of the problem, hoe wit originated, etc make the forum more neat, clean , and a pleasure to search through .
Better titled threads will make for less repeat question postings.
Thanks!
