Ready to sell
Hopefully one or more of the members can give me some insight on my problematic but loved LS400! And I'm not really ready to sell. Okay my problem is that I'm still coding a DTC 12 even after changing the parts associated with code. (crank pos sen-NE signal, both cam pos sen-G1 and G2 signals)
Checked for broken wiring to no avail , tore car apart literally back together now except plugging everything back in. Please anyone with advice post it because
I haven't driven my car in over a year with this problem. 1993 ls400

forgive me, i sold my LS a few years ago, but i had this SAME issue with my cousin's civic and it turned out to be the distributor. when they start to fail they can give off interference that disturbs a ton of other sensors.
have you swapped the distributors? (http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/ignit...tor_rotor.html)
funny enough, it also sat for a freakin year while we tried to track down the problem.

I did change the distributors when I changed the cam position sensors, brand new everything. Do you happen to know where the signal plates are for the cam postion sensors and what they look like? Also the old rotors had major cracks in them.
