I need new calipers...
So my brakes were giving me trouble and it turns out some how i need all 4 of my calipers rebuilt or replaced and new pads. Does $538 sound about right for this? Rebuilt no replaced. Or should i just go another rought?

Does the car pull to the left or right when braking? Do you get a pulsation through the brake pedal when braking? If the car doesn't pull left or right, but you have a pulsation in the pedal, then it would most likely be warped rotors and not frozen calipers. If the car pulls left or right, but no pulsation through the pedal, it would point to a frozen caliper.
Either condition could cause uneven brake pad wear.

Well just the normal warped rotor issues. The brakes are fairly new since the last owner did it not to long ago. They still looked great. The car does not pull when braking either.

Get the rotors turned at a good shop. Find another shop to inspect the car next time that isn't goign to try and sell you unecessary service.
If you have a hard stop...roll forward a few feet to allow that portion of the caliper to dissipate heat. If not possible, take the car out of <D>, release the brake pedal to retract the pads from the rotor. Depending if the road is flat or not, engage the parking brake for those few moments.
