Default jerky in reverse

I did search and couldn't find anything on this, so if it's been covered i apologize, just point me to the link....

This has been going on for a while now....

When i put the car in reverse to back up, as i push the gas it's almost jerky at times as i start to back up. Anyone experience this? Is this a sign of transmission bushings being bad?

Thanks for any suggestions.

I have the same problem in my car.. If we are indeed experiencing the same problem, I think this a fairly normal thing for every car to do. How bad is the jerkiness though ?

I just noticed this in my car as well recently. It only does this when the car is cold and I use reverse first before drive.

it's not really bad like as in shaking the car, but i notice it. I would say it's more like a little lunge.

My car does it no matter if it's hot or cold. It's more obvious if i'm backing up an incline.

Is it kinda like as if you were reversing in a manual car ?

I would say so... like the clutch isn't quite engaging.
