'92 sc400 alternator, will it work on a '97 LS400?

I searched the web (and CL) and couldn't find any correlations, but nothing saying it wouldn't work either. Thanks in advance.

Come to find out there's (3) different part numbers for the '97 LS400 according to the dealer.
