Default Windshield Fluid light won't turn off

Hi Folks. The other day my low Windshield Fluid light came on. Sure enough, the bottle was empty. I filled her up but the light doesn't go off. Anybody experience this?

try discounting the battery and then re-connecting it.

Usually the float is stuck. My light has been on for about a year now. Just to lazy to get underneath it and disconnect the sensor.
Try searching this forum - lots of people with the same issue.

Mine did this a few weeks ago. Tried using a coat hanger to dislodge the float, didn't work. Tried disconnecting the battery and reconnecting.... didn't work. So i just climbed under there and disconnected the sensor.

Light is still off
