low windshield washer fluid light...
gentlemen,
THe light came on one day and I refilled the reservoir but the light stayed on. I called the dealership and asked them what could be wrong and they said it was probably a faulty sensor. it costs $175 to fix!!!! Can anyone offer some insight about a DIY for this?
thanks

My light came on and stayed illuminated this winter.
The float had stuck at the bottom of the reservoir.
I simply tapped it using a steel cable ... the light went off and
has stayed off for 3 months and counting.

Thanks for the responses guys. I haven't had a chance to get under the car yet but hopefully sometime in the next few days.
I'll have to try that since it seems like the best route at this point. Someone also mentioned it on the thread PD linked.
