As stated, I have a 97 Ls 400. The trunk will only open with the key. When I use the remote, (holding it down down for 3 seconds) the car beeps, but the trunk latch does not release. When I use the interior trunk release lever, nothing. There is a click, (maybe a relay) but no opening of the trunk. I have tried it with the valet button pressed, and no click. I use the key to release the valet button, then there is a click, but the trunk does not open. I saw somewhere to check the wires that run against the arms of the trunk, so I opened up the wire loom and separated the wires, and everything looks great. Untouched and no bare wires.

Any Ideas????
