1996 Lexus LS400 trunk solenoid help!
Can somebody please give a detailed description of the wire that runs to the trunk solenoid that releases the trunk lid! My trunk is locked and theres no way to open it, the key has been disabled by previous owner and the aftermarket remote is not activating it anymore!
I need to figure out which wire it is and add power to it to open it or else I have to cut the trunk open!

guys the reason im not putting the info up is because it is a way to bypass the factory keyed switch and not something i feel is a good idea to share with the world in general.
so basically, unless you're in a bind and i have seen you on the forums/know you personally, you're on your own. do NOT pm me if you don't meet one of those requirements (ie-new member/very few posts/etc...)
That being said, the information needed to fix some of the problems mentioned are publicly available and require just a good look around and proper interpretation.
Dean-fix the key/poke around mate. sorry.

Hey PD We need ur help please!!!
Hi everybody, esp. Puredrifter, my stepdaughter's boyfriend locked his keys in his trunk. I've done research, tried applying 12v to the solenoid switch, still nothing happens. Please see the below pics of car to try to prove we are legit. I don't know exactly where to apply 12 volts to. I'd greatly appreciate your help. My phone# is 951-317-8179. Thanks so much, Kent
