Question Will Tundra headers fit the LS4?

The reason I ask this because I have a set of aftermarket Tundra header for the 2UZFE. I'm putting the 2UZFE into my 93 Toyota pickup but from what I read these headers will most likely hit the frame so I may not be able to use them. I was wondering since I have them if they would fit into the Lexus. I know they will bolt up to any UZ block but I was wondering if anyone had done this.

Thanks, James

they'll physically fit but you'll probably need new cats since the existing one wont fit.

In my county we don't have emissions that's why i can take my cats off. I'm hoping for some extra power with the cats and if I can get some headers in there cheap why not!

iirc i'm 99% sure it wont fit, due to interfering with the steering. at least that's what S&S told me when i asked them a couple years back when they where in business and making both tundra and LS headers.

I was asked to come in to answer this question by one of the moderators. So here it is. The answer is NO for SC400 and LS400. Taco? Dont know. Never try it. Every car and truck have different configuration so it would be hard to say.

*cries a bit* thats lame... I swear I always end up with nice cars that I can't modify cheaply...

98 v-6 Cirrus
03 Accord (sooo expensive for K24 parts)
93 LS4 same problem...

If anyone I trust on this it would be you. What is the reason why they do not fit? Steering? Frame? Taco? This is not Yotatech! I know they will bolt up and I'm not worried about the EGR. If I have to cut the header flanges off and cut the pipes back a bit and reweld the flange back on so the headers will sit closer to the cylinder head I will.

This is just an idea I had and I doubt I will go through with it, just seeing if it has been done. I think I bought the headers from a guy on TundraSolutions about 3 years ago and they might be JBA headers but I'm not sure. They are really nice polished headers and they look like they are made very well. Thanks for your input and anyone else who has to add anything.

Just try it and see. For $99, make it fit if its just minor modifications.

Thanks James!

You can flip the Tundra headers and make twin turbo from it. Kill two birds with one stone.

Nah, I'm leaving this car as my cruiser. I already have a Mustang that is loud and fast and one of my next projects is a 2UZ into my 93 2WD Toy. I already have the 2UZ and the trans, just need to get off my lazy butt.
