Default Running lights turn themselves on

Wow, when it rains it pours... Just did UCA's, tbelt and my breaks need work..... Now my running lights are now turning themselves on... Its sitting out in the rain... the switch works, when I turn it on then off. I go back inside for awhile and the running lights come back on...

any ideas? I've never had it sit in the rain before... it's about 40 deg....

When you leave them out in the cold rain... bad things happen.
(Just kidding... have no other idea why).

I had a spell about 3 years ago where the fog lights came on on their own only when driving. Almost like the daytime running lights. No rain or weird weather. Fiddling with the light switch didn't produce any results whether on or off, it still came on. Next day...it was back to normal and it hasn't done that since.

The water induced issue mine has is the outside temp sensor becomes wacky when it is wet. Mostly caused by me squirting water behind the bumper when washing leaves out or such. It gives weird readings for a day or so while drying out.

anything to do with position of headlight switch on your turn signal stalk? Isn't light sensor on drivers side dash near window? Look straight down from outside, maybe something like dirt, postage stamp or something is sliding over the light sensor?

this is when the car is off and parked... not while driving or idling... I'm not sure my 91 has auto lights anyways

Sounds like Christine got reincarnated as an LS LOL! What year is your car? Maybe its the wires in the drivers side trunk lid support?
