front clunk.. wheel hitting steering?

this is what tie rod is hitting inside the rims.. looks like support brace for wheels..idk...

If the 1st Gen LBJ's were updated to a 2nd Gen, would that make a difference? I've never had the opportunity to compare the design of the 1st and 2nd Gen LBJ designs side by side. Would the 2nd Gen ball joint arm push the tie rod end further out toward the rim?

loosen that bolt on the threads of the tierod and clock the tie rod just a tad so that its out of the way, I would also recommend a alignment

it seems like the whole hub is closer to the wheel... wonder can cause that.. i put spare rim on because it doesnt have those ribs like other rims do... any idea what would cause hub to move backward? cant be strut rod cause whole wheel would move yeah?
