Default Keys lost??????

Had my bag stolen while on vacation and my car keys where in it. I have no spare of any kind. Dealership closed today and the car is stuck at the airport. But wondering is it easy to get a new key for the car? Its a 1997 LS 400.

oh jesus, i dunno if the 97 LS had lasercut keys, but even if they do or not, I believe they have to ORDER a key. I'm not too positive on that though. SOrry about your keys though

Man that sucks!

I believe all lexus keys are laser cut. The big problem you're probably gonna have is the wireless locks. On my 93 the dealer told me that if I wanted another key with wireless functionality I'd have to replace the whole system at about $250. I'm not sure if they've changed the keys since then. I would think you'd be able to reprogram the keys but maybe not. Could be a security thing. Good luck.
