Supercharger
Ok, here is the deal.
There can be a supercharger bolt on kit made for 2nd gen LS for around 5-7k. The kit for the 1st gen will follow shortly. The price is not set yet but I am just trying to figure out whether there is enough interest for the product.
I am pretty serious about this and the outcome of this thread will result in the action and the decision on whether it is worth it or not. I will provide more datails on the kit once some people will actually post that they are currently have cash for downpayment to get one.
I know this is a little played out topic but please, take it serious.

Please post the manufacturer, type of blower, etc. At let's say 8PSI, what are the approximate gains if the rest of the car is bone stock. My main concern would be noise levels and driveability. What RPM would majority of the boost kick in at.
Thanks

Retro what kind of supercharger would you use? I can't think of any other than a centrifugal blower due to the space constraints in the LS. The SC is a little bigger but is still too small for a twin-screw blower. I am thinking of a reverse rotational centrifugal where the battery or airbox is. Either way the tubing would be difficult due to space.
After the WR mods, I am doing my exhaust and was hoping to do a supercharger. There is a lot of work involved in this project. Let me know what you are doing. If it seems that it would be too much work I will stick with a NA SC400 with 0-60 of about 5.5 secs. Not the best but still fun.
