Default Front Crossmember Torque Specification

Does anyone know what the front crossmember bolt torque specification is on the 1st Gen LS? Four 17mm nuts, 2 per side...

Thanks

I believe it's 43 ft/lb for the front crossmember. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I have a feeling 43 ft/lbs is a bit light. I'm guessing two or three times that but I can't find it anywhere. Checked Alldatadiy and Mitchell's too. If its there, I havent been able to find it.

Anyone else?

Hi! It's 107 ft/lbs. I am trying to look for my spec sheets as I removed the crossmember on my car when I was changing the Engine mounts/bushings.

Thanks for the info guy's...

Garage7RP, are you confident about the 107 ft/lb number for the first gen? 35 ft/lb difference between the two. I've never had the opportunity to compare the design of the 1st gen to the 2nd gen crossmember's to understand what would account for the difference between them.

The torque spec for the first generation crossmember to body nuts is 72 ft-lbs. Good luck Jim.
