Default Window stuck down 90 LS400

1990 LS400

None of my windows will go up anymore (from either the drivers switch or the other switches). They only go down. (I have diagnosed it as being the drivers window switch and am awaiting a replacement in the mail). In the mean time by accident the front passengers window got put down a few inches, wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how I might be able to get this back up in the meantime ?

Did you have a power surge to the driver side switch. That would be the only way I can see all of the others not working. I know that when I did some audio work, I had to have the driver side switch at least plugged in, to complete the circuit for the others to work. Is kinda odd that they all went out together, and the fact that they go down and not back up is suspect.

Got a new drivers window switch, all windows now go down and up from drivers side, both rear windows now work from their own switches, but the passengers front window only goes down from it's own switch and won't go up. Does anyone have any thoughs? Do you think it's the passengers front window switch that also needs replacement? Or have I received a drivers window switch that's broken?
