Default ucf10 ucf21 engine swap

i was wondering if the engine from a ucf10 will swap in and work on a ucf21?

IIRC,, sizewise it will fit however you will also have a boat load of wiring to do. Different wiring harness as well as you will need the ECU from the 21(Different ECU as well). It CAN be done, but not without some work in order to do so.

im not 100% but the sump positions may be different for the VVTi engines, so in that case, No.

god only knows why in the hell you'd want to replace the VVTi engine with an early 1uz....mind you, i'm guessing since the UCF21 could reference to either the 95-97 OR 98-00 since it's a chassis code that doesnt delineate the minor change.

still havent told us what year it is. UCF21 could be either, the "1" doesnt designate generation.
