I am seriously considering trading my 1993 prelude for a 1991 Lexus LS400.
I looked at the car late this eve.
My only concern is the driver side rear wheel is crooked. I cant descibe it any better. He says he never noticed, and has owned it for a year. It is leaning quite a bit. Not tons, but it is noticeable.
I suspect that would be suspension related. Could this be real expensive to fix?
I have done all the work on my last 2 hondas, but this is not a honda...
The steering wheel is way off too, obviously needs alignment. But I cant see it being related.
Any ideas?
You know when people lower their cars, and the wheels look crooked after? that is what it looks like, but only the one wheel.
Any help greatly appreciated.

it might just be bad alignment, or it could be the whole chassis of the car completely twisted to ****.

this is something you need to look into.

 

If the whole chassis was twisted, wouldnt the car have a salvage title? From some accident? How else could it be twisted?

I believe you are right though, I should have it checked out first.

 

it all boils down to this: if you don't have a decent mechanical background, take the car to someone/somewhere that does and have them look at it.

 

The camber adjuster could be out far enough for you to be able to spot it by eye. I'd ask to take the car to be checked out, the alignment machine will tell straight away
