Great info, nice to know that there are tell tale symptoms for a failing ecu. Keep us informed when you get your ecu back, let us know the noteable differences. I wonder if you will have any CELs, let us know.

If you are referring to me, it's been 3 months and 8,000 miles since my ecu had been repaired and no problems yet. No CEL and she runs flawlessly. I may send out my tranny ecu for a repair because I have read that they fail also.

I'm still in process of sending my ECU for rebuilding. Was planning on sending it yesterday but couldn't because I was need my car this days (car wouldn't start w/o it ).
I was gonna try another ECU before sending my out, took one out from friends 92 LS and it didn't fit (plugs are different).

Hi Guys,
I had my ECU rebuilt by ASI (autoecu.com) and it fixed all my weird 93 LS400 problems. See the full post and solution here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...epaired-2.html
