Vibration at Highway Speeds
94 Ls400 with 147xxx miles on it.
noticed it 3 days ago. i noticed that i had low tire pressure in the rear driver side tire. filled it up and drove to school fine, no problem. then on my way back from school i got on the parkway and at 50mph it started vibrating a good amount but nothing crazy, at 65mph the car was vibrating like i had a flat tire, so i pulled over but all tires are fine.
i searched the Ls400 forums and found a thread dated back in early 08 that some1 had vibrations at 1100 rpm in drive but not in park or neutral and 1 of the verdicts was to replace the motor mounts.
do i need new motor mounts?
or could it simply b that 1 of my tires rnt balanced all of a sudden? caz i no that an unbalanced tire will cause vibration at highway speeds
what do u guys think?
ohh and my fan bracket is loose. its making a nice ticking sound so im going to fix that this weekend. any chance this caused or is related to the vibrations?
thanx guys/gals

I guess it could be the engine mounts putting too much pressure on the transmission mounts which would be throwing the driveline position off. But my 1990 LS once had a bad vibration that got worse at higher speeds and it turned out to be the engine/tranny mount.
