Default MAFS/AFM Mass Air Flow Interchangability

This isn't specific to the LS400, I don't own one but ended up buying an LS400 MAFS for 1jz-gte vvti and would like to compile a list of interchangable MAFS for various engines.

AVALON 97-99
CAMRY 97-01 (1MZFE 6 cyl)
LEXUS ES300 97-98 (1MZFE eng)
LEXUS GS300 98-00
LEXUS GS400 98-00
LEXUS LS400 98-00
LEXUS SC SERIES 98-00
SIENNA 98-00
SOLARA 02-03 6 cyl
SOLARA 99-01

Is the above accurate? All MAFS work interchangably with the above models?

So the following part numbers interchange?
22204-20010 (CAMRY / AVALON / ES300 98-99)

22250-50060 (Lexus GS400)

Does the mkiv supra MAFS work as well? (I'm looking at this page: http://jzxproject.com/bbs/index.php?...=0&#entry32552)

Why don't you buy OEM MAF. Maybe MAF readings will be different!

Maybe they will, maybe they won't. The above are all OEM MAFS. Regardless, the point of this thread is to find out if they interchange.

buy an OBD2 interface "check ebay its cheap" and use an OBD2 software like PCMSCAN to check the MAF readings & compare between the vehicles.

^that would be re-inventing the wheel and defeating the purpose of using a car forum for accessing potential existing knowledge.

So useless posting aside, does anyone have experience with the above?
