Unhappy Help electrical problem!!!! '97

I have a 97 Ls400 that has a recent issues. To get to the point.

-the side mirrors stop working
-the keyless entry stopped working
-the dome light stopped working when doors are opened, works as long as key is in ignition(door setting)
-doors lock/unlock only with key in ign
-trunk release only works with key in ign

All these functions stopped all at once and really want to get this fixed. All info to fix these issues will be appreciated....

1-search
2-check (actually TEST) all the fuses in the driver side fuse box under the dash by the parking brake release.

Hello,

Check the 20a (Door) fuse and the 7.5a (Dome FR) fuse. They both are under the hood. This is a multiplex communication system and the body ECU controls all of the functions you mention. When the key is in the ignition, circuits are turned on that temporarily supply voltage to many systems in the Body ECU.

Good Luck!

skybluecrx, did you ever figure out what was causing this? I've had the same problem you described above on my 97 LS from quite some time. I feel like I've checked both fuses listed above. I'm thinking bad multiplex. Anyone else with this problem? Resolved?
