Transmission Throttle Cable Adjustment
wanted to bump this to share my discovery. I had transmission jerk from P to D as well as R. Also between all gears.
I first thought it was trans mount or oil. Changed those but no improvement.
Then I thought it could be the drive shaft bushing etc. But no...
It was this cable that was little too loose. Basically the transmission was thinking car was at lower RPM than it really was, resulting in the jerk. Took 5 minutes. I can barely feel it shifting now.
Very easy to do, as cation said above, there is a stopper on the cable and it should almost touch the cable outer. (<1mm)
This is a must do DIY i think...[/QUOTE]
