hi guys i got a 93 ls400 with the nakamitchi system. i installed a sony deck into it today with a metra 70-8112 harness. everything plays except for the factory sub. i know with the harness it low levels the output from the radio into the car. anybody have the sub wire colors so i can solder an rca end onto them so i can low level the sub out on the radio? thanks guys

 

umm im pritty sure its the green and brown wire. some1 correct me if im wrong.

but if anything just take off the cover thats over the sub and look wat color wire it is

 

im about to replace my sub, any suggestions?

 

I had fry's electronics techs replace my small amp in the trunk with a 50 watt power amp hooked to the sub. I replaced the sub with an 8 ohm sub taking out the 2 ohm factory sub and what a difference. The tech had to run a wire from the battery through the car and taking out the back seat is all sorts of fun he only charged me $50.00 labor most amps come with a volume control so you set it so the sub doesn't get louder that the rest of the system. when they took out the factor amp (small amp) they just hooked the factory wiring to the new sub amp it will work as good as the new cars with the big sub systems.
