What year LS400 and do the mufflers mount up exactly where the stock mufflers were? Are they the same size? Thanks!

Can i assume the 95 muffler would be the same size as the 90-94 mufflers? what did the Magnaflows cost?

Look at summitracing.com for their weld on stainless tips (reasonable). Until you get your pics though it is hard to tell you about tips My Magnaflows installed in OEM spot only I raised them a couple inches to avoid scraping on inclines. This meant I had to cut half circles in the bumper like others have done (it was easy). Initially I installed 3" slant tips and then replaced them with 4" straight cut tips as the 3" just didn't look right.

It sounds like you used OEM Y-pipe? I will be interested in hearing your clips.

Since I installed the 4" x 10" tips the resonance has changed quite a bit. Sounds more gnarly than before.

your the person i originally got the idea from only i didnt remove the resonator before the y pipes which im about to go do know and the tips had to b angled slightly from the muffler to avoid melting the bumper. its snow here in chicago so kinda sux with the pix n video n all but hopefully it will clear up soon so i can get some pix.

the exhaust doesnt get hot enough even with hard use to melt bumper as long as you use quality tips.
