Supra LSD onto LS400, CONFIRMED!
http://www.lextreme.com/forums/showt...7711#post97711
I hope this isn't a repost, anyways the guy has a 91 Celsior
Fitting the prior to 96 Series B Torsen LSD from the mk4 Supra TT, looks like he had to:
1. Switch Rear cover from factory Diff to move mounting bolt location
2. Drill out two new mounting holes on front of subframe, welded nuts
3. Relocate parking brake cables
4. Adapter plate between rear of driveshaft to LSD input, not a lot of detail on this
5. Stock axles bolted right up, nice eh?
All in all not bad! I think those Diffs sell for under 400$ on supraforums, a little pricey. Mostly I want one for better winter performance, and its nice to hang it out in the rain once in a while.
So there it is! Comments?
