Is there somewhere I could look for a list of the safety features (airbags, etc) that the 98-00 LS400 has? Maybe also a list for the LS430 (if there's much difference).

What prompted this was I looked at the specs for a 2004 Buick Park Avenue and it listed side airbags and a good crash test rating. I can't seem to find that info for the LS400 and lack of those features might well be a show stopper for me...

look on YouTube for crash test videos of the 2nd gen LS and the 3rd gen LS. The LS430 has a much stiffer passenger compartment that deforms less in an offset impact.

It looks like both cars got a good rating with the LS430 edging out the LS400 with a stronger passenger compartment and side curtain airbags. I just have to decide if that is worth the extra 2-3K that the 430's seem to be getting.
