Since my 2000 LS400 does not have a "H/CNTL" relay, I assume it is for the height control feature of the electronically adjustable air suspension option -- which my car does not have.

I looked in my repair manuals and I can not find information about this relay. I did, however, find information about the HID headlight height control sensor on about page SA-20 -- I had wondered where this sensor was located.

Mine has the air suspension fuse but not the H-CNTL relay. Maybe they finally figured out they could omit the relay on cars w/o air suspension by the time they assembled my car -- 205th from the last LS400 made.

What's he supposed to check his owners manual for? My 2000 LS400 owners manual has no information about relays -- only has information about fuses. qewani1 has the same car I do.

You've got a 93 LS. gewani1 and I have a 2000 LS. The content of LS owners manuals changed significantly through the years. For example, the owners manual for the gen 1 LS I had included instructions on how to change every single exterior light bulb including instructions on removing the headlight units. The 2000 LS owners manuals has no information about changing bulbs.
