I have never done this.. but i need to swap a 1uzfe from my 90 LS to My 93 LS. I have read on lexls.com that the EGR and EVAP systems now controlled by the engine ECU and Fluid temperature sensor was added to the transmission on the 93.. is the a Write up on how to pull the motor...and how would i get around the EGR and Evap problem...

If you keep the old ecu, and old EGR/EVAP systems and just swap the engine, you'll be fine. If you want to install new system, you will need the new ECU as well.

 

cool thanks man... you think its possible to pull the transmission and engine out together with a cherry picker... I can't drop it... dont have a lift... and the 93 transmission is shot...

 

No clue man, theres a lot of things you can pull with a cherry picker

Putting in the new unit is a whole different story.
