Hi everyone i have a 1995 LS 400 with about 110,000 miles on it. I was thinking about putting some upgrades in the car. For example an intake system, exhaust system turbo maybe new shocks etc. I love my car and want to upgrade it but i don't know to much about this stuff and how much it would cost. It would really help me if you guys could give me suggestions about what fits in the car and maybe some other things that i could do that would upgrade it also. In addition i want to paint it black and i was wondering if any one knows how much that would cost. Thanks

welcome to ClubLexus, congrats on ur new LS.

please search, most of what you're asking is in my UCF20/21 Faq at the top of the LS forum

intake isnt available, and a turbo is neither in ANY WAY bolt on, or worth it imho since the LS is so heavy and poorly geared.

Welcome to CL - You can pretty much find all the information you need here. I also wanted to turbo/supercharge mine early on but after I discovered there is no easy way I abandoned it to make mine drive like a sports sedan - now it is much different than when it was new. Depending on your budget you could look at a dual exhaust with X pipe setup and high flow mufflers along with coilovers. Those two would make a nice difference

no, there are no intakes made that fit the 95-97 or 98-00 LS out of the box.

there is an Injen intake that supposedly works is mislabelled and really only works on early model LS'
