1993 LS 400 6 Disc CD Changer
Alright, so for those of you who have been following my posts, you'll notice that I've posted up a few minor issues that I'm having with my car, and they all seem to be pretty much normal.
So, bare with me on this one as my minor problems are slowly getting worked out.
The 6 Disc CD Changer in the trunk of the car is not working. I will switch it to CD on the radio in the dash, and it acts like it's reading the cds, then spits an error code.
After loading the changer, I can hear it violently trying to read each disc.
Everything still functions properly, such as speaks, sub, open/close, etc.
So, that leads me to my next question...for those of you who have done it, is there an easy way to rebuild these things or would I be better off saving the change for an aftermarket headunit and cd changer? I really don't want to do this as I want this to be a basically stock car audio-wise.
Is there a tutorial or perhaps some advice/suggestions you guys that have been through this can share with me?
I appreciate everyone's help thus far with all of my minor issues!

I believe it would be price prohibitive to have the changer professionally diagnosed and repaired...Consider buying a used changer as they are readily available and several model years of the changer will plug and play with your 93.
