Default Operation Identity Change: Complete

Hey guys. Long time visitor, first time poster. I know I'm gonna get a lot of questions from this, so here we go.
Its taken over two years and WHOLE LOT of parts hunting, but the identity change is nearly complete. Alot has gone into the Toyota conversion. Its not easy to find rare OEM/JDM parts for a 13year old car to begin with. I owe it to lots of ebay/internet searching and a special friend in Japan Some people will understand, others will not. Thats ok. Its all worth it for the looks and questions I get from random people.

The big boy himself:

Started simple with grille and emblems. Yes, the front emblem snaps right in place of the Lexus. Yes, I filled the holes in the trunk...

Couldn't resist- had to get the plate to match ...

Then I kinda got carried away with it...

So I figured, "Oh well, now I gotta go all the way"...

Got the Celsior owners manual and factory brochure in the glove box! The only thing left that reads "Lexus" is my ignition key Safe to say, one of the most unique "LS400s" on the east coast.
Am I passionate, or just mental?

Wow...is that a compliment from our resident CL skeptic? LOL...thanks man. Yes, the "Lexus" holes had to be filled on the driver's side, but I filled all of holes on the trunk, otherwise you'd see them with the new badges. And yes, that is late model 20 in the sig. Is there anything you don't notice, Pure?

"Oh well, now I gotta go all the way"

That's not all the way yet! Gotta do a right hand conversion . That's a really clean JDM transformation, good job.

They're actually Hella yellow bulb capsules from Germany. Better than any "yellow" bulb out there.....these things are YELL-OW! Too bad you can't find em anywhere anymore (I got these years ago). From experience, I can tell you that the Georgia State Patrol as well as the Pennsylvania State Police don't like these things.

Thanks man. I feel you on the airbag....I know. Don't ask me how long it took to get that one. Or how much it set me back

Although I believe that that's a legit Celsior airbag, I wonder if you could've saved some money by seeing if any other Toyota airbags would fit. Looks like a Camry bag would fit. Nice work on the conversion.

Hey nice job!

Look for the JDM fogs...they'd be a good addition for your car.

Chris

EDIT: Scratch what i said...you have a UCF20.

Chris
