You guys that are saying you have good success with you cassette adapter, what kind are you using? I want to overhaul my audio, by got hurt at work and fired and won't have the money to do it until I win my lawsuit. So if I can find a good cassette adapter for now that will suffice. Any suggestions?

20 bucks....scosche rf modulator from walmart.

with the cars power antenna fully extended, it works awesome.

I use it with my tmobile dell streak 7 tablet. there is a little clarity loss, but it still sounds great.
mine sounds best on 92.something on a nak system.....and after my pioneer avic-z1 install, I dont use it as much. but 88.whatever works on it..
I do use it at work though when the radio station is on "repeat" and play the same 4 songs every 30 minutes....had a hard time dialing in the station to a bookshelf radio, but it does work

sound will transmitt with the tablet in the glove box or center console.

and power consumption isnt all that bad. the lil unit requires 2 "aaa" batteries.

I used a tape adapter for years on my nak system with various ipods and an iphone. It worked well but had a very high noise floor. With the hardwired aux, balanced line driver, and quality recordings on my iphone it beats even the oem cd changer hands down in sound quality and output.

BTW, id probably still be using a tape adapter til this day if it didnt get stuck in there. I had to press eject and yank the cord to get it out and now cant even put a cassette back in. Im glad it broke though because I wouldnt be running the stuff I have now.

*thread revival*

My cassette player is also ejecting my cassette adapter. I tried a new adapter, same problem. Tried running a brand new head cleaner/demagnetizer through it, it ejects that as well, and the problem remains. I checked for foreign objects but found nothing. I first noticed the problem one morning when it was in the mid-20s (not sure if temperature would be relevant) and it's been doing it ever since (about a week or so).

Someone suggested the integration solution from Grom Audio, but there is no version compatible with any UCF10/20. I have the Pioneer system. I really don't want to (nor have the financial ability) to upgrade the head unit to something really nice, so if this seems unfixable, I'll begin the search for another factory head unit from a '95-'97.

Any suggestions?
